Job summary

The Commander, Navy Installations Command—Mid-Atlantic Region, Fleet and Family Readiness Program seeks a duty manager for an athletic facility. You will assist patrons and help maintain order and discipline while on duty.

Responsibilities include leading a large group, delivering strong customer service, and performing minor maintenance with basic hand tools. CPR/First Aid certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• A combination of training and education or a minimum one-year specific experience in an athletic facility or program.
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic to perform inventory accountability and to compute charges and make change quickly and accurately.
• Skill in the use of basic hand tools to perform minor maintenance and repair.
• Must be a mature individual with documented leadership abilities, who can exercise control over a large group of people to ensure good order and discipline as necessary.
• Must be skilled in customer service techniques, tact and good judgment.
• Must possess CPR and First Aid Certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.

This position is located within Commander, Mid-Atlantic Region, Fleet and Family Readiness Program. The purpose of this position is to assist patrons of the assigned athletic facility and to serve as "duty manager" as assigned.
