Job summary

• American Red Cross First Aid certification is not required when applying but must be obtained prior to employment

• Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and/or holidays

Responsibilities

• Attends to the needs of children of various ages in the child care room/nursery
• Maintains records of check-in and check-out times
• Plans programs and activities for the children
• Maintains the child care room/nursery in a clean and orderly condition
• Keeps attendance records and prepares reports
• Inspects equipment and toys for safety
• Meets and deals tactfully with the public
• Performs other related duties as required
