Seeking a dedicated and caring individual to support our elementary/junior high day care program within a Christian ministry. Responsibilities include supervising and engaging children in activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, and promoting Christian values through daily interactions. Ideal candidates have experience working with children, strong communication skills, and a heart for ministry.

Heights Christian Schools (HCS) is a 501(c)3 ministry that owns and operates several Christian schools in Southern California. The primary objective of our schools is to bring about the total education of the student spiritually, academically, morally, mentally, socially, and physically.

Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Give full attention to the assigned group of children, and be responsible for their safety and well-being.
2. Attend, participate and assist in chapels, assemblies, staff meetings, and training programs as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
3. Respect professional ethics that require confidentiality concerning the sharing of information about children, parents, or staff.
4. Reinforce and encourage positive character qualities in the children.
5. Assist in the communication and enforcement of behavioral guidelines in a fair, consistent, and positive manner.
6. Act in accordance with daily routines, being accountable for promptness and preparedness.
7. Supervise the play area, and guide children into safe play activities on or off campus.
8. Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the administration.

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt

Full-Time/Part-Time: Part-Time

Location: 11 HCS-BREA CAMPUS
