AgeMaine seeks part-time to full-time Recreation Assistants for our Adult Day Program in Portland, Maine. This role entails leading group activities, assisting with personal care, and maintaining documentation as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Preferred candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, with experience in adult day health or dementia care; CRMA certification is a plus. Travel to Biddeford or Springvale may be required for full-time positions.

AgeMaine is seeking at least a part-time (24 hours per week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Required) to full-time (40 hours) Recreation Assistants for our Adult Day Program. This position will be located in our Portland, Maine location but if full-time may need ability to travel to additional sites which are Biddeford or Springvale. We provide programs for adults living with dementia or other cognitive impairments in a warm, bright, and friendly atmosphere. Our program staff are energetic, creative, and compassionate as they facilitate a wide array of activities designed to maximize self-esteem and increase positive social interactions for our members. Recreation Assistants are an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, interacting with members throughout the day, leading small group activities, providing some personal care, communicating with caregivers, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Reporting to the Program Coordinator, the Recreation Assistant will work closely with the program team, program members and caregivers. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

This is a part-time to full-time position with an hourly rate of $20.50. Benefits are prorated based on the number of hours worked per week.
