You will plan and implement engaging activities, ensure safe transportation, and support clients in learning and social interactions. Responsibilities

• Plan and implement recreational and leisure activities for individuals in Day Services.
• Provide transportation supervision and operate ASPIRO vehicles, including wheelchair lifts.

Job Description:

Responsible to plan, develop and implement a variety of recreational and leisure activities for individuals in Day Services.

Requirements

1. Assists with daily transportation of clients including providing supervision and assistance for clients departing and boarding buses and other vehicles, driving ASPIRO vehicles, which includes operation of wheelchair lifts.

2. Plans and implements community activities for individuals receiving services.

3. Provides supervision and/or leadership as needed during evening and weekend activities.

4. Helps create an environment that supports learning and positive social interactions and relationships. Assists with crisis prevention and intervention.

5. Responds to the needs of persons served in a timely and professional manner.
