Aspiro Inc. in Green Bay, WI is seeking an active caregiver to plan, develop and implement recreational and leisure activities for individuals in Day Services.

The role involves assisting with daily transportation, leading community activities, and supervising evening and weekend programs, fostering learning and positive social interactions. Candidates should have 1 year of caregiver experience preferred; willingness to relocate to the Green Bay area; in-person work location with flexible

Qualifications

• Caregiver experience preferred.
• Ability to plan and implement recreational activities.
• Strong interpersonal skills for learning and social interaction.

Responsibilities

• Assists with daily transportation of clients including supervision and boarding for buses and vehicles, operating wheelchair lifts.
• Plans and implements community activities for individuals receiving services.
• Provides supervision and/or leadership during evening and weekend activities.
• Helps create an environment that supports learning and positive social interactions, and assists with crisis prevention and intervention.
• Responds to the needs of persons served in a timely and professional manner.

Responsible to plan, develop and implement a variety of recreational and leisure activities for individuals in Day Services.

Requirements

1. Assists with daily transportation of clients including providing supervision and assistance for clients departing and boarding buses and other vehicles, driving ASPIRO vehicles, which includes operation of wheelchair lifts.
2. Plans and implements community activities for individuals receiving services.
3. Provides supervision and/or leadership as needed during evening and weekend activities.
4. Helps create an environment that supports learning and positive social interactions and relationships. Assists with crisis prevention and intervention.
5. Responds to the needs of persons served in a timely and professional manner.
