About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to Outdoor Recreation on Dover Air Force Base.

This position is considered Regular Part Time. You are guaranteed 20 hours, however you could work up to 40 hours per week. As a Regular employee, you are eligible to earn annual leave, sick leave and sign up for benefits to include Health/Dental and Life Insurance, 401(k) and NAF Retirement.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:

• Must have sufficient experience with cash handling and cash register operations to effectively account for large amounts of cash and credit card payments.
• Must have proficient skills with Microsoft Office products for day-to-day operations and possess effective time management skills.
• Must be able to account for equipment and retail sales inventories.
• Must possess a current CPR and First Aid certification or be able to obtain one within 90 days of employment.
• Work involves walking, bending, climbing, swimming, and carrying of heavy items up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to exert light physical effort in reaching, bending, turning, or moving hands, feet, and legs to operate hand and foot controls.
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
• Lifesaving/lifeguard experience desirable but not required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be available to work non-regular shifts to include weekends and occasional evenings.
• This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 SEP 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968.
• An individual convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.
• Must satisfactory complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
