Job summary

Clearfield City is seeking a Recreation & Arts Program Supervisor to oversee events, recreation and arts activities. You will supervise facility areas, coordinate schedules, and ensure public safety during programs.

Under the Recreation & Arts Supervisor(s), you may supervise part-time staff and volunteers, handle equipment setup, and act as official representative at events. The role requires flexible hours, good communication, and a valid Utah driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education and training to demonstrate an aptitude or ability to perform above and related duties.
• One year of experience performing above or related duties as a seasonal, part-time or volunteer worker.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a valid Utah State Driver's License and meet the requirements of the city's Motor Vehicle Policy.
• Must pass a background check.
• CPR and First-Aid Certification from an approved source within three months of hire; CDC Concussion Training.

Responsibilities

• Supervises facility and activity areas during program times to ensure public safety.
• Sets up equipment and ensures availability of program resources.
• Mediates disputes between players, spectators, participants, and officials; enforces rules and regulations.
• Assists in planning and coordinating program activities including arts rehearsals and shows.
• Oversees coaches and officials; supervises facility activity areas during program times.
• Operates concession stand, handles cash, and maintains records.
• Completes required reports and submits them in a timely manner; renders routine first aid.
