Job summary

Brevard County Board of County Commissioners is seeking a part-time paraprofessional to assist with leisure activities for community groups at the South Area/Viera Regional Community Center. $16.13 to $17.74 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. South Area/Viera Regional Community Center. Part-time/up to 20 hours per week. Work schedule is variable and includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. REQUIREMENTS

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver’s license and maintain said license during the term of employment. The applicant will be disqualified from further consideration for the position if a Level I background criminal background investigation, performed in accordance with Brevard County Administrative Order 5 (AO-5), discloses the applicant has disqualifying convictions (AO-5). In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
