Adroit Care Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a Recreation Aide to enrich residents' lives through engaging activities in a full-time role. You will plan and lead group and individual programs, promote social interaction, and support a safe, welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates are energetic, creative, and compassionate with strong communication and organizational skills. Prior experience with older adults is preferred, and the team collaborates to enhance residents' quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead individual and group recreational activities.
• Facilitate cognitive, physical, social, and leisure programs to engage residents.
• Coordinate monthly events, holidays, and special activities.
• Encourage participation and tailor activities to individual interests and needs.
• Build positive relationships and foster a welcoming environment.
• Assist with transporting residents to activities when needed.
• Maintain supplies and keep activity areas clean and organized.
• Observe residents and report concerns to staff.
• Ensure safety, dignity, and privacy during activities.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance quality of life.

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a creative, energetic, and compassionate Recreation Aide to enrich the lives of our residents through engaging activities and meaningful social interactions. Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead individual and group recreational activities.

• Facilitate cognitive, physical, social, and leisure programs that promote resident engagement.

• Assist with coordinating monthly events, holiday celebrations, and special activities.

• Encourage resident participation while adapting activities to individual interests, abilities, and needs.

• Build positive relationships with residents and promote a welcoming, inclusive environment.

• Assist with transporting residents to and from activities as needed.

• Maintain activity supplies and ensure activity areas remain clean and organized.

• Observe residents during activities and report any concerns to the appropriate staff.

• Ensure resident safety, dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.

• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to enhance residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous experience working with older adults or in a healthcare, recreation, or activities setting is preferred.
