Job summary

Candlewood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Recreation Aide to join our Recreational team. You will plan and implement activities to enhance residents' social, physical, and cognitive well-being within a supportive community.

Responsibilities include organizing arts and crafts, games, and outdoor activities; adapting programs to residents' needs; building strong relationships with residents and families; and ensuring accurate activity records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant certification preferred
• Prior experience in healthcare and/or recreational programming is a strong plus
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and balance competing priorities
• Proficient with basic computer applications

As a Recreation Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of our residents by planning and implementing recreational programs that promote socialization, physical activity, and cognitive stimulation.
