Job summary

Northern Manor Multicare Center in Nanuet, NY is seeking a Recreation Aide to design and run engaging programs for Residents on-site. You will collaborate with care staff to support activities and enhance residents’ quality of life.

Responsibilities include implementing programs, assisting recreation specialists, managing supplies, maintaining attendance records, and guiding residents between locations while upholding safety procedures. A friendly, energetic team player is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be upbeat, energetic, enthusiastic, and have a caring personality.
• Enjoy working with the elderly
• Exp. with recreation therapy/activities a plus
• High school diploma/equivalent
• Strong computer skills necessary
• Ability to work effectively as a team member
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to multi-task
