Job summary

Morristown Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Recreation/Activities Aide to enhance residents' quality of life through one-to-one activities and engaging group programs. Join a warm team focused on personalized care and meaningful interactions within a community setting.

You will support daily activities, assist with events like crafts and decorating, and help create a positive image of the organization while ensuring safe, compassionate care for residents and clients.

Responsibilities

• To enhance the quality of life for residents/clients according to established policies, procedures and objectives of the organization.
• One-to-one activities utilizing interpersonal needs to meet resident/client needs
• Projects a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, public
• Errands, handling resident mail, flower arranging, seasonal decorating, cleaning activity areas/storage space, photographing of residents, serving of special meals, baking, gardening, creating craft projects
• Supervising responsibilities, including not limited to smoking breaks for residents
