Arnold Walter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hazlet, NJ is seeking a reliable Housekeeping Aide to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents, families and staff. This role focuses on daily cleaning, sanitizing, and floor care to ensure a comfortable living space.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of housekeeping experience, strong attention to detail, and can work well independently or as part of a team in a compassionate, respectful manner.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year housekeeping experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, hallways, stairways, and elevators.
• Sanitize and polish fixtures, furnishings, mirrors, windows, and surfaces.
• Perform floor care including sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing, and disinfecting.
• Vacuum, shampoo, deodorize, and disinfect carpets as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness standards while following safety procedures.
• Report any accidents, incidents, or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Follow assigned cleaning schedules and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
