Job summary

Job description

This position is located at Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area (BLORA)- Community Recreation Division

Duties

  • Checks in/out patrons, assigns camp sites and is responsible for briefing of patrons and explaining basic rules and regulations
  • Operates cash register and performs end of day financial reports.
  • Checks travel camp area and facilities to insure that general repair, cleanliness and adherence to sanitation requirements are maintained
  • Unloads shipments and operates government vehicles. Cleans bathhouse and grounds area when scheduled
  • Maintains a friendly, helpful demeanor around and towards guests in order to project a positive image for Edelweiss Lodge and our programs.

Requirements
  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
  • Incumbent may also required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.

Qualifications
Applicant must be able to work Rotating Shifts

Must be able to speak, read and write the English language sufficiently to communicate orally or in writing.

Must be able to lift 20 lb.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a drivers license.

Must have or be able to obtain current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training certification within 6 months of hire
