Waythrough is seeking a compassionate Recovery Worker to join our Adelphi Court service in Barrow-in-Furness. You’ll support adults with mental health needs to build independence, develop living skills and work toward personal recovery goals in a person-centred setting.

This permanent, part-time role (30 hours/week) operates 9:00 to 21:30 and includes working one in three weekends. A full, valid driving licence and willingness to train in medication management are required.

Competenze

• Experience in mental health, supported living, health and social care, or a related field.
• Commitment to person-centred care and recovery-focused support.
• Willingness to complete the Care Certificate and medication training.

Mansioni

• Provide practical and emotional support to residents to manage mental health and wellbeing.
• Help residents develop everyday living skills and personal recovery plans.
• Facilitate group sessions and deliver one-to-one support.
• Conduct risk assessments and promote safe, independent living.
