Job summary

Recovery Works Healing Center in Dayton, OH is seeking a part-time Driver to support residents’ transportation to clinical services, employment, appointments, and approved activities. You will report to the Director of Operations and work onsite, ensuring safety, confidentiality, and professional conduct in a recovery-oriented setting. This role requires a valid OH license and CPR/First Aid certification, with HIPAA/42 CFR Part 2 compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or ability to obtain within designated timeframe.
• Basic understanding of confidentiality requirements (HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely, and professional transportation for residents to clinical services, employment, appointments, and approved activities.
• Conduct routine vehicle safety checks and report maintenance or safety concerns to management.
• Follow all traffic laws and agency transportation policies.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness for resident transport.
• Interact with residents in a trauma-informed, respectful manner.
• Monitor safety and behavior during transport and report concerns to supervisors.
