Job summary

Southeastern Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. (SCADD) is seeking a Recovery Technician Coordinator for Lebanon Pines, Lebanon, CT. Lead and support a team of Recovery Technicians, ensuring a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented environment and high safety standards.

This is a hands-on leadership role with administrative duties and direct client care support. The position offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, a 403(b) match, and paid training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Valid and unrestricted Driver's License and CPR Certification.
• Commitment to trauma-informed care, recovery-oriented practice, and SCADD's values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor Recovery Technicians in day-to-day tasks.
• Manage hiring, onboarding, timecard approvals, and performance evaluations.
• Schedule Recovery Technicians to align staffing with regulations and policies.
• Monitor safety protocols and ensure compliance with agency policies and guidelines.
• Complete incident, shift, and inspection reports accurately and timely.
• Model SCADD's mission, vision, and values to maintain a positive work culture.
• Perform Recovery Technician duties as needed, including client orientation and paperwork, screening belongings, and coordinating issue resolution.
• Assist in onboarding new employees and transferring essential knowledge.

What You'll Do:

As a Recovery Technician Coordinator, you will lead, supervise, and support a team of Recovery Technicians while fostering a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented environment. You will be both a hands-on leader and a direct contributor to the safety and quality of care our clients receive every day.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervise, train, and mentor Recovery Technicians in day-to-day tasks, ensuring they receive the support and guidance needed to thrive
• Manage hiring, onboarding, timecard approvals, and performance evaluations to build a strong, competent team
• Schedule Recovery Technicians to ensure staffing levels align with all applicable regulations and policies
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with agency policies and regulatory guidelines
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time, including incident reports, shift reports, and inspection reports
• Foster a positive, high-performing work environment by modeling SCADD's mission, vision, and values at all times
• Perform Recovery Technician duties as needed, including:
  • Orienting new clients to the facility and reviewing program rules and expectations
  • Completing non-clinical admission paperwork and documentation
  • Screening incoming client property for inappropriate items
  • Managing and coordinating medical, behavioral, emergency, or facility issues quickly and efficiently, notifying the appropriate authority as needed
  • Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
  • Monitoring the security of the department regularly
• Participate in the orientation of new employees and the transfer of knowledge essential to the performance of duties

What You'll Need:
