Job summary

Visalia Post Acute is seeking a dependable Rehabilitation Technician to join our team. This full-time, non-clinical role supports physical, occupational, and speech therapy by assisting with transportation, setup, equipment, scheduling, and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and understand policies, procedures, schedules and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and supplies for therapy sessions.
• Transport and prepare residents for scheduled therapy sessions under staff direction.
• Assist with resident transfers and safe handling per training.
• Clean, disinfect, and properly store rehabilitation equipment.
• Maintain a safe environment following infection-control protocols.
• Communicate with supervisor, therapists, and nursing staff regularly.
• Coordinate scheduling needs with therapists and complete required documentation.
• Assist with approved exercise, education, and community programs.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and company information.
