Job summary

Compass Health Network is seeking a Behavioral Technician for the Day Shift at the Linn Creek/Cedar Recovery Center. This full-time role involves providing structured support to individuals in substance use recovery, ensuring safety, and assisting with daily activities within inpatient and outpatient programs.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm, totaling 40 hours per week. A Missouri Class E license within 60 days of hire is required, with a valid driver's license essential for transport

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license required.
• Missouri Class E license within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide support during recovery-focused group education sessions.
• Monitor and ensure client safety through ongoing supervision.
• Assist with medication logging and self-administration observation.
• Transport clients when needed – driving is a key part of this role.
• Support new client orientation and documentation.
• Respond to crises and participate in safety drills.
• Conduct and process urine drug screenings.
