Job summary

Chestnut Health Systems is hiring a part-time Client Care Technician / Specialist for the Men’s Residential Unit, Fridays and Saturdays 7:00am–3:30pm. The role provides trauma-informed, recovery-focused support to residents in residential and crisis services, helping clients build hope, wellness, and independence in a safe, therapeutic environment.

You will work with the clinical team on daily activities, assist with meals and medication observation when needed, and support admissions,

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Or a bachelor’s degree; or a total of 5 years’ experience and college combined.
• Various other certifications will be required depending on experience level.
• Personal experience with recovery process and willingness to discuss it as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Guide the Recovery Journey: Support clients by observing progress and reporting on personal goals.
• Promote Empowerment: Use a recovery-first mindset and trauma-informed care to help clients regain control of their lives.
• Lead Daily Activities: Work with the clinical team to facilitate scheduled group activities and maintain daily routines.
• Mealtime & Wellness: Assist with meals and observe clients taking medications when nursing staff are unavailable.
