Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Recovery Specialist for the Transitional Support Services program on a per diem basis. The role provides short-term residential support to individuals in early recovery, helping them develop daily living skills, problem solving and self-advocacy while coordinating with clinical staff.

Responsibilities include helping clients set and track goals, collaborating with supervisors, supervising premises, conducting searches as needed, and maintaining timely shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience working with substance use population is preferred.
• Valid MA Driver’s License in good standing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists clients in reaching their personal goals and tracking milestones.
• Collaborates with Clinical Supervisor and colleagues to ensure client progress.
• Observes and supervises buildings and grounds.
• Searches client belongings on admission and at discharge as directed by supervisor.
• Completes checklists, shift documentation and record keeping per agency policies.
