Job summary

Indiana Treatment Centers is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician – Recovery Support Specialist in Mishawaka, IN. The role delivers structured, trauma-informed care, supporting clients from admission through discharge and helping maintain a safe, recovery-focused environment.

You will work on client engagement, safety monitoring, and hands-on support across clinical and operations teams, with opportunities for growth in a mission-driven setting that prioritizes compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Ability to pass background checks and motor vehicle screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, recreation, community meetings, and appointments.
• Provide full orientation to new clients on rules, schedules, and facility layout.
• Review client participation in recovery activities and share observations with staff.
• Facilitate or coacilitate groups under supervision.
• Support clients in emergencies and crises and escalate as needed.
• Support client vocational, recovery, and postischarge goals.
