Job summary

Recovery Centers of America (RCA) is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist to join the patient care team in Maryland. This role focuses on monitoring patient safety, engaging with individuals in treatment, and supporting admissions and discharges to ensure a structured recovery environment.

You will participate in crisis intervention, coordinate clinical appointments, and maintain thorough documentation. A week-long paid training is provided, and compensation includes benefits and career

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in addiction services or behavioral health preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with behavior modification techniques and 12-step recovery principles.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all patient interactions.

Responsibilities

Schedule: Full-time Sunday, Monday, Friday, and Saturday 11:00pm-7:30am

Are you passionate about helping individuals reclaim their lives from addiction? As a Recovery Support Specialist (RSS) at Recovery Centers of America (RCA), you will be an integral part of the patient care team, providing direct support to individuals in treatment for substance use disorders. Your role is vital in ensuring a safe, structured, and supportive environment where patients can focus on their recovery journey.

Please note this position requires a week long paid training Monday-Friday days.

What You’ll Do
