Job summary

Apex Recovery LLC (TN) is seeking a Recovery Specialist to support clients in recovery from substance use disorders. You will mentor, advocate and motivate clients while supervising the facility during detoxification or residential status. Responsibilities include documenting progress, performing C.R.

and AOD group sessions, and coordinating client transportation within the program guidelines. Ideal candidates have a background in human services and can communicate clearly with clients, families

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a human services setting with strong references.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with clients and staff.
• Proficient in maintaining accurate documentation and reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintain reports and appropriate files and databases.
• Complete new admission intake procedures per policy.
• Document daily progress in client files and progress notes.
• Observe and document medications and vital signs.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Conduct AOD counseling group sessions and document as needed.
• Crisis intervention and general program support.
