Job summary

Behavioral Health Network (BHN) is seeking a Recovery Specialist Supervisor to lead the My Sister’s House program in Western Massachusetts. You will supervise Recovery Specialist staff and Medication Specialists, manage the Medication Room, and provide crisis intervention when needed.

Qualifications

• Commitment to client empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration.
• Ability to work with an addicted population, including co-occurring disorders.
• At least one year of experience in substance abuse treatment environment.
• At least two years of supervisory experience (preferred).
• Understanding of Medication management in an RRS program according to BSAS regulations.
• License options such as CNA, LADC II or LADC III (preferred).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of DPH Bureau of Substance Abuse regulations.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct supervision to Recovery Specialist staff at My Sister’s House.
• Providing direct supervision to Medication Specialists.
• Managing the Medication Room and process.
• Providing crisis intervention and emergency services as needed.
• Staff selection, resolving personnel issues, scheduling and coaching employees.
• Facilitating development and implementation of educational programs.
