Southeastern Integrated Care Llc is seeking a Substance Abuse Specialist (LCAS/LCAS-A/CADC) – CST to work full-time in Shallotte, NC. The role involves providing care under supervision, educating on substance use, harm reduction, and recovery while coordinating with teams and community resources.

The position requires strong clinical skills, knowledge of the population served, and certifiable credentials, with on-site work at client homes or office settings as needed.

Competenze

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to assess substance use and mental health factors.
• Experience with motivational interviewing and beneficiary engagement.

Mansioni

• Conduct comprehensive substance abuse assessments and relate substance use to mental health.
• Assess readiness for change and track stages of treatment.
• Facilitate access to 12-step groups and community supports.
• Apply cognitive behavioral approaches and relapse prevention.
• Coordinate with other service providers to align treatment approaches.
• Lead group sessions and assist in placement in short/long-term treatment and detox services.
• Participate in a 24/7/365 on-call system and coordinate first response resources.
• Ensure confidentiality and protect patient privacy in all processes.
