Responsibilities of the Recovery Specialist

• Maintain a safe environment emphasizing high-quality services and customer satisfaction
• Facilitate safe and orderly movement of clients within the facility
• Provide transportation for clients and support program operations using the program vehicle when needed
• Conduct alcohol and drug screens respecting clients' dignity
• Assist with admission and discharge procedures
• Oversee clients' housekeeping chores, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness of the units

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in substance abuse or mental health preferred but not required
• Excellent verbal, social, and written communication skills
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in resolving problems and emergencies
• Effective communication skills in diverse, interdisciplinary settings
• Basic computer skills for electronic health records entries
