Job summary

Danvers Treatment Center, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Recovery Specialist to support a 41-bed detox program with 24-hour nursing oversight. The role will involve ensuring safety, supervising clients, and aiding admissions during a Fri–Mon day shift.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with substance use disorders is preferred.
• Ability to supervise clients and maintain a safe environment.
• Valid MA Driver's License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities.
• Observes and supervises clients and unit; conducts 30 minute client well-being check.
• Conducts telephone admission screenings and other admissions duties.
• Searches client belongings on admission and at discharge as directed by supervisor.
• Completes all checklists, shift documentation and record keeping in a timely manner.
