EOSIS (formerly Meridian Behavioral Health) is a leader in behavioral health care and addiction recovery services in Minnesota. EOSIS in Sauk Rapids, MN seeks a full-time Recovery Specialist for the 3rd shift to support clients through their recovery journey and ensure program responsibilities are understood and followed.

The role includes admissions/discharges, rounds for safety, and active client interaction. Pay ranges from $16 to $21 per hour with shift differential.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Experience in a residential treatment center is helpful, but not required.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred, not required.
• Ability to work independently.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Able to drive a vehicle continuously for up to three hours.
• Able to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients for admission, discharge, medical appointments, etc.
• Provide orientation to new clients, check in personal property and perform luggage searches
• Provide for the safety of the clients by making rounds including all areas described in the Program Abuse Prevention Plan and overnight bed checks
• Interact with clients whenever possible
• Attend shift change report and department meetings
• Assist with the admissions and discharge process
• Chart interaction with clients and observations made in client's record through electronic charting system
• Attend staff meetings and In-service trainings, as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
