EOSIS in Mahtomedi, MN, is hiring a part-time Recovery Specialist for the 3rd shift (11:00 pm – 7:30 am). You will guide clients through their recovery journey, provide structure and encouragement, and support during residential/detox programs.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• CPR and first aid certification preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work independently and provide client support.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients for admission, discharge, or medical appointments.
• Provide orientation and check belongings, perform luggage searches.
• Ensure client safety with rounds and overnight checks.
• Interact with clients and participate in shift change and meetings.
• Assist admissions and discharge processes and document in charts.
• Attend trainings and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients for admission, discharge, medical appointment, etc.
• Provide orientation to new clients, check in personal property and perform luggage searches
• Provide for the safety of the clients by making rounds including all areas described in the Program Abuse Prevention Plan and overnight bed checks
• Interact with clients whenever possible
• Attend shift change report and department meetings
• Assist with the admissions and discharge process
• Chart interaction with clients and observations made in client’s record through electronic charting system
• Attend staff meetings and In-service trainings, as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Prior work experience in a residential treatment center environment helpful, but not required
• CPR and first aid certified - preferred, not required
• Ability to work independently
• Possess a valid driver's license
• The ability to drive a vehicle continuously for up to three hours
• The ability to lift and move objects weighing a minimum of 25 pounds
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
