Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems is seeking a Recovery Specialist for the Lowell, MA inpatient CSS program. The role emphasizes maintaining a safe environment, aiding in client movement, and providing transportation when needed.

Training in screening for substance use and facilitating admissions is part of the job. The position offers a weekday schedule of Sunday through Thursday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, with an hourly pay rate of $20.00–$23.00 and benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, life

Qualifications

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting.
• Basic computer skills to enter data and use electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment at all times with emphasis on high-quality services and customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate movement of clients around the building and grounds in a safe, orderly manner.
• Provide transportation for clients and support program operations using the program vehicle when needed.
• Conduct alcohol and drug screens on clients with respect and dignity.
• Assist with admission and discharge procedures as required.
• Oversee housekeeping tasks to keep units clean and orderly.
