Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems is hiring a Recovery Specialist for the Acute Treatment Services inpatient program in Lowell, MA. This full-time role involves maintaining a safe environment and assisting with client movement and admissions, with transportation support as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent). Applicants should have strong verbal, social and writing skills, and the ability to communicate in a diverse, interdisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in substance abuse or mental health field preferred, not required.
• Excellent verbal, social and writing skills.
• Demonstrates independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in emergencies.
• Able to communicate in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting.
• Basic computer skills to make entries and use electronic health records.

Responsibilities
