Spectrum Health Systems in Weymouth, MA is seeking a Recovery Specialist for the inpatient CSS program. This full-time role operates Sunday-Thursday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with a pay rate of $20.00–$22.00 per hour.

The position emphasizes maintaining a safe environment, transporting clients as needed, and supporting admissions and discharges. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and strong verbal, social and writing skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in substance abuse or mental health field preferred, not required.
• Excellent verbal, social and writing skills.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in emergencies.
• Able to communicate effectively with clients, families, staff and regulatory agencies.
• Basic computer skills to enter data and use electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe environment with a focus on high-quality services and customer satisfaction.
• Facilitating movement of clients around the building and grounds safely.
• Providing transportation for clients as needed.
• Conducting alcohol and drug screens with respect and dignity.
• Assisting with admission and discharge procedures as required.

The Recovery Specialistis responsible for:

• Maintaining a safe environment at all times with an emphasis on high-quality services and customer satisfaction.
• Facilitating the movement of clients around the building and grounds in a safe and orderly fashion.
• Providing transportation for clients and in support of program operations using the program vehicle when needed.
• Conducting alcohol and drug screens on clients using an approach that demonstrates respect and dignity for the clients.
• Assisting with admission and discharge procedures as required.
• Overseeing the clients' general housekeeping chores with participation in light housekeeping as needed, ensuring that the units remain clean and orderly.

QualificationsQualifications:

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in substance abuse or mental health field preferred, not required.

• Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies.

• Must have basic ability in use of computers to be able make entries and utilize electronic health records.
