Job summary

LifeStream Behavioral Center is seeking a Recovery Specialist to join the interdisciplinary treatment team in Leesburg, FL. You will monitor client behavior, assist with recovery planning, and support discharge planning to aid transitions back to the community.

You will lead group and individual sessions, collaborate with clinicians, and document progress in electronic health records. A compassionate, organized communicator with crisis experience will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health setting or related field (minimum 1 year).
• Crisis intervention familiarity and recovery principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in developing and implementing personalized recovery plans.
• Monitor and support clients during recovery and adherence to plans.
• Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions.
• Coordinate care with healthcare professionals for continuity.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Educate clients and families about recovery resources.
• Participate in staff meetings and training.

Job description
