Job summary

Behavioral Health Network, Inc (BHN) is seeking a Recovery Specialist for Unity Place in Greenfield, MA to support growth, independence, and safety of individuals served. You will provide counseling, guidance, and act as a role model within a 40-bed residential program.

The role requires one year of experience with substance abuse populations, a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and a vehicle registered for work. BHN offers competitive pay and diverse schedules.

Vehicle for use during all working hours should be registered and inspected in accordance with 540 CMR 4.00 (required).

Responsibilities

Supporting the growth, independence, and safety of individuals served.
Providing guidance and direct counseling, as needed.
Acting as a role model to others.
Facilitating diverse client groups.
Provide crisis intervention and emergency services, as needed.
Conveying individual and program information to other staff using a staff log.
Completing program specific forms, documentation, and progress and group notes in a timely and thorough manner.
Completing individually assigned responsibilities, such as room checks, house laundry, etc.
Using your own vehicle for transportation of individuals, as needed.

Behavioral Health Network’s Unity Place, a 40-bed program in Greenfield, MA, provides residential rehabilitation services to individuals who are struggling with addiction and mental illness.
