Behavioral Health Network (BHN) is seeking a Recovery Specialist for the New View program. You will provide direct care, counseling, and supervise activities, with training in de-escalation techniques and safety protocols.

A CNA/MA or equivalent and a valid driver’s license are preferred, plus the ability to work in Western Massachusetts’ New View unit. Available schedules include Full Time: Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday, 11:00pm-7:30am; Per Diem shifts also available.

What You Will Do:

• Providing direct care services and supervision to client populations.
• Providing counseling to individuals served as appropriate for their experience level.
• Overseeing activities to ensure conformance with program policies.
• Completing specialized training in de-escalation techniques and the use of physical restraint.
• Maintaining strict confidentiality of individuals served information at all times in accordance with 42 CFR.

The New View program at BHN serves female-identifying individuals who have been civilly committed through the Section 35 court proceeding to a designated substance use disorder treatment facility. The program offers acute treatment services (ATS) and clinical stabilization services (CSS).

Who You Are:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required).
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) credentials (preferred).
• Valid Driver's License (required).
• Vehicle for use during all working hours should be registered and inspected in accordance with 540 CMR 4.00 (required).

Pay Rate/Range: $21/hr + applicable shift differentials for 2nd, 3rd, and weekend shifts.
