Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will perform skilled nursing procedures, assess patients, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

The role requires ICU residency with at least six months ICU experience, WA RN license, and certifications (BLS, ACLS within 90 days, PALS within 6 months).

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience with airway emergencies (e.g. airway obstruction, laryngospasms).
• Graduate of ICU residency with minimum six months ICU experience.
• RN license in WA.
• BLS CPR certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• PALS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care and perform skilled nursing procedures.
• Assess patient needs and plan care within the nursing process.
• Document care and patient status; communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications as ordered and monitor patient responses.
• Prepare patients for discharge and coordinate post-discharge needs.
