The ideal candidate holds a BSN or ADN, maintains current RN licensure, and possesses BCLS and ACLS as required by the facility. Collaboration with the surgical team and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN, ADN, or Nursing Diploma program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BCLS and ACLS certification as required by facility.

Responsabilités

• Cares for patients in the recovery room/post-anesthesia care unit.
• Monitors vital signs and patient status during recovery.
• Educates patients on post-discharge care and wound care as needed.
• Administers prescribed medications and documents care provided.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort; responds to emergencies.
• Collaborates with surgical teams to ensure smooth recovery workflow.
