Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston is seeking an experienced RN for Special Procedures Day Surgery and Recovery. to 9:30 p.m., with no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements. Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; a Texas RN license and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelor’s in Nursing preferred.
• Licensure: current Texas RN license and Basic Life Support certification.
• Experience: ICU and/or PACU experience preferred; licensure requirements may vary by unit.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care to patients using the nursing process and maintains medical records.
• Coordinates with an interdisciplinary team to plan and deliver patient care.
• Adheres to regulatory standards and hospital policies; may serve as preceptor or mentor.
• Ensures safe, compassionate, and efficient patient experiences, guiding others as needed.
