Job summary

Southeastern Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. (SCADD) is seeking a Service Coordinator II to oversee the daily operations of an assigned residential program—supervising a team, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining a safe, recovery-oriented environment for clients and staff alike.

As Service Coordinator II, you will balance direct staff supervision with hands-on support, collaborate with leadership to maintain safety and quality of care, and participate in ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, with at least two years of leadership experience in a recovery or related residential program; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Valid Driver's License to drive an agency vehicle.
• CPR Certification required within 6 months of employment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop staff, including recovery technicians, case managers, and recovery coaches.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support program staff, including hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and professional development.
• Orient and train new staff on residence-specific technology, systems, documentation, and client support.
• Create schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and staffing levels for each shift in line with regulations.
• Facilitate and oversee medication self-administration and ensure protocol compliance.
• Ensure client medications are available and disposed of properly at discharge as applicable.
• Manage medical, behavioral, emergency, or outside problems quickly and efficiently, maintaining a safe environment.
• Identify and report incidents and potential risk situations with proper documentation.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, licensing, and regulatory standards.
• Provide direct care as needed to meet regulatory requirements.
• Orient clients to residence and review program rules.
• Provide on-call support and respond to crises, including after-hours.
• Collaborate to develop census forecasts and staffing patterns.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize services and resources.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training.
• Attend meetings and training as required.
• Onboard new employees and transfer essential knowledge.
