Job summary

Ampact's Recovery Corps in Chicago is seeking a Recovery Project Coordinator to support local organizations addressing the opioid crisis. You’ll help with community engagement, data collection, volunteer mobilization, and education campaigns to reach more people in need.

Join a mission-driven team, participate in training, and contribute to program goals for the 2026-27 year. The role is full-time with daytime hours and a regular AmeriCorps stipend as compensation.

Qualifications

• Dependable and have a history of good attendance
• Able to understand and follow instructions
• Able to set a pace and maintain a service schedule, depending on the agreed upon hours commitment
• Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing English Fluently
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploima or equivalent
• A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
• Able to successfully complete a background check
