Qualifications

• Master’s degree in substance use, counseling, social work, public health, higher education administration or closely related field is required.
• Personal recovery background is required; PRSS certification or commitment to complete within 1 year of hire is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience preferred; no minimum years of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate the University’s recovery program and initiatives.
• Provide individual coaching and mentorship to the university community on recovery.
• Lead recovery support meetings, workshops, wellness events, and community activities.
• Deliver recovery-focused education to individuals at all stages of recovery.
• Assist with outreach to raise awareness of recovery resources on campus.
