Job summary

BRC is seeking a dedicated professional to support clients in social services and case management, helping them achieve housing and recovery goals in NYC. You will coordinate care, provide referrals, and act as a liaison with community providers to expand support, including housing and job assistance.

In addition to direct client support, you will educate on self-help techniques, participate in team meetings, and assist with emergency CPR when needed. The role is full-time and community-facing.

Qualifications

  • H.S. diploma/ GED and CRPA required.
  • Training/experience in homeless services, substance abuse treatment, or mental health services.
  • Bilingual abilities a plus.
  • CPR training certification or willingness to take CPR.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to support housing and recovery goals.
  • Provide referrals and coordinate care with community providers.
  • Serve as liaison between clients and providers, including housing and job assistance.
  • Escort clients to HRA, Social Security and related appointments.
  • Educate about self-help techniques and coping strategies.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
  • Provide emergency first aid/CPR when needed.
  • Related duties as assigned.
