Job summary

Region Ten Community Services Board seeks a Community Services Associate III/Peer Recovery Specialist for the ACT Team in Charlottesville. Responsibilities include facilitating recovery, building natural supports, and assisting with daily living skills, using lived experience to engage and motivate ACT

Qualifications

• Must be a certified peer recovery specialist (CPRS) or become certified within the first year of employment.
• Drivers license with acceptable driving record; business use requires insurance.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supportive services to persons with serious mental illnesses.
• Promote recovery, wellness, self-advocacy, and development of living skills.
• Engage, motivate, and support ACT consumers using peer recovery experience.
