Job summary

Ampact is seeking a Recovery Navigator for the Recovery Corps program in Moorhead, MN. You will provide peer support to individuals in recovery, helping them navigate resources, set personal goals, and develop recovery action plans.

You'll draw on your own recovery experience to mentor participants, build relationships, and connect them with social services while pursuing ongoing training and community engagement throughout the year.

Qualifications

• In recovery for at least one uninterrupted year from a substance use disorder.
• Able to understand and follow instructions.
• Basic computer skills (email and navigating online).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.

Responsibilities

• Foster strong relationships with participants.
• Lean on your own recovery experience to provide mentoring and peer support.
• Connect participants with social service resources and programs.
• Track participant recovery plan progress.
• Participate in training and professional development throughout the year, including the Peer Recovery Support training.
• Share your experience with the community.
