Job summary

CHR's Women’s REACH program in Willimantic (Willimantic, CT) seeks a Recovery Navigator to support pregnant and parenting women with substance use and co-occurring disorders. You will help clients set recovery goals, connect to MAT/MOUD and behavioral health resources, and coordinate with treatment teams.

The role requires lived recovery experience, relevant certifications, a valid driver's license, and a commitment to culturally informed care.

Qualifications

• Education: lived experience establishing and maintaining recovery from mental health or substance use condition(s).
• Experience: 2+ years with identified populations; RSS preferred; must identify as a woman in recovery for WRN.
• Licensure/Certification: Recovery Support Specialist Certification or Recovery Coach Certification; valid driver’s license.
• Training: complete DMHAS 30-hour recovery-oriented training within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in identifying and advocating their own recovery goals.
• Conduct program assessments and help create person-centered plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
• Maintain documentation in compliance with program standards.
• Transport clients as required and participate in meetings and trainings.
• Link clients to community resources and recovery supports.
