Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university and at least three (3) years of experience in a relevant field, or six (6) years total experience in a relevant field in lieu of a degree.
• At least one (1) year of demonstrated experience with FEMA Public Assistance (PA) and/or Individual Assistance (IA) policies and general project management principles.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking abilities to analyze complex situations, make informed decisions, and manage multiple tasks and priorities while collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support clients through the cycle of recovery projects, applying FEMA PA/IA policy expertise as requested.
• Facilitate meetings, provide updates on project status, generate reports, and deliver feedback.
• Produce and maintain internal documents for emergency management and recovery operations; track milestones and deadlines.

Position Summary

The Independent Contractor Recovery Division will offer consultative support to our clients and assist with projects throughout our Recovery Division Candidates will be expected to work collaboratively with leadership to solve complex problems and to ensure clients needs are met as we guide them through various recovery projects This posting is being used to build a talent pipeline for potential future openings across our emergency management recovery function While we may not have an immediate opening we are continuously reviewing applicants and may hire directly from this pool as roles become available contingent upon client needs

Qualifications for the Independent Contractor Recovery Division

Compensation for the Independent Contractor Recovery Division

Includes Salary range of 30 70hr Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors including but not limited to skills experience and training licensure and certifications internal equity location travel requirements and other business and organizational needs
