Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) Brockton Behavioral Health Center is seeking a Recovery LPN to provide clinical and administrative support in the CSS unit under supervision. The position emphasizes medication administration, evaluation, and recovery-oriented services for adults with SUD, MH, or dual diagnoses.

Under direction of the RN, CSS Program Director and ACNO, you will engage patients, document encounters in the EMR, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery, prevent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• LPN diploma from an accredited institution.
• Current license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to practice as an LPN.
• CPR & BLS/First Aid certified upon hire.
• Experience with substance use populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage patients in a residential treatment setting.
• Record vital signs and discuss/document chief health concerns.
• Perform and record specialized testing and administer medications as directed.
• Record administration of medications and coordinate with on-site pharmacy.
• Maintain clean and orderly medication room and administration area.
• Triaged sick complaints and perform initial evaluation with vitals.
• Collaborate with counselors to support recovery plans for adults with SUD/MH.
• Document patient encounters in the electronic medical record.
