Job summary

Community Medical Services is urgently hiring a Nurse to administer medication to patients recovering from addictions. The role operates in an outpatient setting, with a consistent schedule and a focus on documentation and patient conversations.

Shift is 4:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a benefits package including insurance, HSA, 401K, and tuition reimbursement. Travel to CMS sites may be required, and maintaining accurate records is essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN or RN in the state of employment.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to travel to CMS sites as needed.
• Valid driver's license and MV clearance.
• Experience with substance use disorders preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by CMS providers.
• Monitor dosage-related symptoms and mental health concerns.
• Obtain vital signs, blood specimens, and urine samples.
• Process point-of-care urine drug screens per policy.
• Maintain accurate client records in the EHR system.
• Deliver medications to external facilities.
• Adhere to all applicable regulations and safety policies.
